This Cancellation Policy explains how donors can cancel different types of contributions to AGKSFOUNDATION. It applies together with our Refund Policy and Terms & Conditions.
1. One-Time Donations
You may cancel a one-time donation any time before you complete the payment on the Razorpay checkout screen — simply close the payment window. Once the payment is authorised and captured, the transaction is complete and cannot be cancelled; refund requests are then handled under our Refund Policy.
2. Recurring Monthly Donations
Recurring donations set up through Razorpay Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Once cancelled, no further charges will be attempted from the next billing cycle. Donations already processed for the current cycle are treated as regular donations.
- Email agks@agksfoundation.in from the address used at sign-up with the subject "Cancel Monthly Donation".
- Include your name, mobile number and last Razorpay Payment ID.
- We will confirm cancellation within 2 working days.
- If a charge is attempted between your request and our confirmation, we will refund it in full.
3. Permanent Donor Membership
Permanent Donor Membership is a lifetime honour and its qualifying contribution is treated as a completed charitable donation. Membership itself cannot be "cancelled" for a refund of the qualifying contribution. However, you may:
- Request removal of your name from the public donor wall and members directory (Gupt Daan).
- Stop receiving member communications by writing to agks@agksfoundation.in.
4. Event Registrations & Volunteer Sign-ups
Free event registrations and volunteer sign-ups can be cancelled at any time by replying to the confirmation email or writing to us. Where an event has a paid ticket, any refund will be governed by the specific event's cancellation terms shared at the time of registration.
5. Newsletter & Communications
Every newsletter email contains an unsubscribe link. You may also email agks@agksfoundation.in to opt out of all non-transactional communications. Transactional messages (donation receipts, statutory notices) will continue as legally required.
6. Our Right to Cancel
AGKSFOUNDATION reserves the right to cancel or refuse a donation, subscription or membership if we suspect fraud, money-laundering, sanctions violations, or any other breach of these policies or applicable law. In such cases the amount will be returned to the original payment instrument.
