Is my donation eligible for 80G tax exemption?

Yes. AGKSFOUNDATION is registered under Section 80G of the Income-Tax Act, 1961. A digital 80G receipt is issued automatically after every donation and reflects in your AIS/26AS as per current rules.

Can I donate anonymously (Gupt Daan)?

Yes. Tick the Gupt Daan checkbox on the donation form and your name will not appear on the public donor wall. The donation is still counted in transparency totals.

Can I set up a monthly recurring donation?

Yes. Select Monthly on the donate page. Recurring gifts help us plan long-term programs and lower payment-processing costs.

What is a Permanent Donor Member?

A Permanent Member is honoured on our members directory and donor wall for life. Membership is granted for lifetime contribution above a threshold set by the trustees.

Can I refund a donation?

Genuine mistake donations can be refunded within 7 days of the transaction by writing to agks@agksfoundation.in with the transaction reference. Please read our refund policy for full details.

What is Section 12AB?

Section 12AB is the current registration under which the Income-Tax department recognises a charitable trust so its income is exempt from tax. AGKSFOUNDATION holds a valid 12AB registration and files Form 10B annually.

80G lets donors claim a deduction on donations to eligible charities when filing income-tax returns. AGKSFOUNDATION is 80G-approved, so your donation qualifies (subject to prevailing income-tax rules).

How much of my donation is tax-deductible?

Under Section 80G, most donations qualify for a 50% deduction subject to a 10% of adjusted gross total income cap. Please consult your tax advisor for your specific case.

Do I need a PAN to receive an 80G receipt?

Yes. Under current rules donors must share PAN so we can report the donation to the Income-Tax department in Form 10BD; this is what makes the deduction visible in your AIS.

Are foreign / NRI donations accepted?

AGKSFOUNDATION accepts INR donations from Indian citizens and NRIs holding an Indian bank account. For non-INR foreign contributions, we require FCRA-compliant routing; please write to us before making the transfer.

Yes. We are registered on the MCA portal with a valid CSR-1, hold 12AB and 80G, and satisfy the eligibility criteria in Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013.
